Dear Whimsical Friends,
Welcome to Bee Sew Whimsical - thank you for buzzin'
into my hive of Primitive & Whimsical patchwork & craft patterns.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Darlene. I am 38
yrs young & the WAH Mummy of 2 precious children - Ashlei (12)& Matthew (9). My husband & best friend, Mark complete my family. We live west of Sydney (Doonside) - NSW, Australia.
My passions are patchwork/stitchin'. Although I've also
added digital & traditional scrapbooking to that list. I want to be able to share with you, these passions so that you can also create lasting memories to pass along to family & friends. Bee Sew Whimsical is a culmination of this passion.
My family are my inspiration & encourage me to pursue my
dreams, as I encourage them to pursue their dreams. I am priveleged to be able to work from home doing what I
love & still spending time with my children helping them
achieve their dreams & goals. What a great gift to be given - to nuture their talents along the way. My daughter, Ash, makes & designs beaded jewellry (BeeDed Bitz) in her spare moments between highschool assignments.
Nothing is possible without the support of my family. Firstly, my husband, Mark. Thank you for encouraging my dreams. I love you & thank you for your patience & help. Next, my Mum, her constant encouragement, help & love of my work. My sister-in-law, (Angie) - well what would I do without you. You listen to all my wild ideas. My mother-in-law, (Lyn) - your constant help & inspiration plus teaching me all there is to know about this wonderful craft. I love you all to pieces!!
Bee Sew Whimsical has been priveleged to work in
collaboration with Heather Thompson (Snickerdoodle
Dreams). Her gorgeous graphical talents can now be
found in our bee-autiful patchwork/stitchin' patterns.
Heather - thank you for your wonderful friendship,
encouragement & valuable advice. Your my very own
angel in disguise & I treasure our friendship each day!
Last, but most important of all - my whimsical friends.
To all I've met & all I hope to meet. Without you, this
whimsical adventure wouldn't exist. My wish is that you
